West Bengal government rolls out “Exit App” 

As we all know during this lockdown many peoples are stuck in different states and want to go to their mother place. For the same Govt of West Bengal has launched an “Exit App”. It will enable these people who are willing to go back to their mother states, by applying online on this app. It can be reached by the stranded people from the West Bengal government’s ‘Egiye Bangla’ website.

Himachal Pradesh govt to launch ‘Nigah’ to conscious household members of migrant returnees

Government of Himachal Pradesh are about to launch a new programme named Nigah, in order to sensitize and educate the family members of the people coming to the state from other parts of the country.

Under this programme Asha, health and Anganwadi workers would be deployed to create general awareness in maintaining social distancing during the home quarantine.

Andhra CM launches app to monitor agriculture needs of farmers

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched an app ‘CMAPP (Comprehensive Monitoring of Agriculture, Price, and Procurement)’, a mobile application to monitor the agriculture needs of farmers.

CSIR-IGIB signs MoU with TATA Sons for licensing KNOWHOW for FELUDA.

In order to execute rapid diagnosis of COVID-19, the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology has partnered with TATA Sons for allowing of KNOWHOW for FELUDA.

The business aims to give permission which will allow the transfer of the knowledge for scaling up the KNOWHOW in the form of a kit in order to employ it for COVID-19 testing on the ground as soon as possible.

Operation “Samudra Setu” launched by Indian Navy 

To bring back Indian immigrants who are stranded overseas amid COVID-19 pandemic the Indian Navy has started a new operation named as “Samudra Setu“. As part of Phase-1 of operation “Samudra Setu”, Indian Naval Ships Jalashwa and Magar are presently proceeding to the port of Malè, the Republic of Maldives to start evacuation operations from 08 May 2020.
