BODE(Verb) : पूर्वाभास

  • Meaning: to indicate (something, such as a future event) by signs
  • अर्थ: संकेत द्वारा (कुछ, जैसे भविष्य की घटना) संकेत करना
  • Synonyms: augur, forebode
  • Antonyms: ignorance, thoughtlessness
  • Example: Poor sales do not bode favorably for the success of the new store.

MEED(Noun) : पारितोषिक

  • Meaning: a much deserved reward or honor
  • अर्थ: एक बहुत ही योग्य इनाम या सम्मान
  • Synonyms: atonement, compensation
  • Antonyms: disregard, penalty
  • Example: The handyman is owed a meed for his work on the home but is yet to be paid.

CARNAGE(Noun) : संहार

  • Meaning: that which is left after an extremely violent event such as a massacre
  • अर्थ:  नरसंहार जैसी अत्यंत हिंसक घटना का घटित होना
  • Synonyms: crime, bloodshed
  • Antonyms: peace, non- violence
  • Example: We banned our child from playing his favorite video game because of the violence and carnage it contained.

USURIOUS (adjective) : अति ब्याज

  • Meaning: rate of interest that is unfairly high.
  • अर्थ: ब्याज की दर जो गलत तरीके से उच्च है।
  • Synonyms: avaricious, acquisitive, rapacious, covetous.
  • Antonyms: affordable, moderate, generous, undulating.
  • Example: Can you lend to the poor without charging usurious interest?

Slipshod(adjective) : असावधानीपूर्ण

  • Meaning: characterized by a lack of care, thought, or organization.
  • अर्थ: देखभाल, विचार या संगठन की कमी।
  • Synonym: careless, lackadaisical
  • Antonym: meticulous, painstaking

RATIFIED(verb) : पुष्टि की

  • Meaning: confirmed or made official
  • अर्थ: पुष्टि या आधिकारिक बना दिया

PURPORTEDLY (adverb) : माना जाता है

  • Meaning: As appears or is stated to be true, though not necessarily so; allegedly.

EXPUNGE (verb) : मिटाना

  • Meaning: obliterate or remove completely (something unwanted or unpleasant).
  • अर्थ: पूरी तरह से तिरछे या हटाएं (कुछ अवांछित या अप्रिय)।
