FRET (Verb) : झल्लाहट

  • Meaning: cause anxiety to.
  • अर्थ: चिंता का कारण।
  • Synonyms: trouble, bother, concern, perturb, disturb, disquiet,
  • Antonyms: comfort
  • Example:  Don’t let sorrow fret away your courage.

SECLUSION (Noun) : तनहाई

  • Meaning: the state of being alone, away from other people
  • अर्थ: अकेले रहने की अवस्था, अन्य लोगों से दूर
  • Synonyms: remoteness, aloneness
  • Antonyms: open, public
  • Example: In some societies women are kept in seclusion, so that they are hardly ever seen in public.

NOTION (noun) : धारणा

  • Meaning: a conception of or belief about something.
  • अर्थ: किसी चीज के बारे में धारणा या धारणा।
  • Synonyms: approach, perception, impression, conception.
  • Antonyms: concrete, reality, ignorance, misunderstanding.
  • Example: When the girl saw how much her friends liked her sugar cookies, she had the notion to open an online bakery.

Relinquishing(verb) : त्यागना

  • Meaning: voluntarily cease to keep or claim; give up
  • अर्थ: स्वेच्छा से रखने या दावा करने के लिए संघर्ष; छोड़ दो

DISENFRANCHISE (Verb)  : नागरिकता से वंचित करना

  • Meaning: Deprive of the right to vote.
  • अर्थ: वोट देने के अधिकार की गहराई।
  • Synonym: Opress, shackle, coerce
  • Antonym: Liberate, release, permit
  • Usage: Government should disenfranchise the people having the voting identity of two cities/states

DERISIVE(adjective) : व्यंग्यात्मक

  • Meaning: mocking and ridiculing
  • अर्थ: उपहास करना 
  • Synonyms: cheeky, scornful
  • Antonyms: polite, respectful
  • Usage: The bully let out a derisive laugh when mocking his classmate’s nerdy glasses.

IRASCIBLE : चिड़चिड़ा

  • Meaning: having or showing a tendency to be easily angered.
  • अर्थ: आसानी से नाराज होने की प्रवृत्ति होना या दिखाना।
  • Synonyms: irritable, quick-tempered, short-tempered, bad-tempered, ill-tempered
  • Antonyms: cool, cheerful
  • Example: He was recognised to be highly jealous and irascible.

COGNIZANCE(noun) : संज्ञान

  • Meaning: To take notice of and consider something, especially when judging
  • अर्थ: किसी चीज़ पर ध्यान देना और विचार करना, विशेषकर न्याय करते समय 
  • Synonyms: Awareness, Familiarity
  • Antonyms: Unfamiliar, Ignorance
  • Usage: The lawyer asked the jury to take cognizance of the defendant’s generosity in giving to charity.

INIMICAL : विरोधी

  • Meaning: unfriendly; hostile.
  • अर्थ: अमित्र; शत्रुतापूर्ण। 
  • Synonyms: hostile, unfriendly, antagonistic, ill-disposed, unkind
  • Antonyms: friendly, warm
  • Example: It may have become inimical to our happiness.
