Quagmire: (noun) नाज़ुक हालत

  • Meaning: a difficult, puzzling, or embarrassing situation from which there is no easy escape
  • अर्थ: एक कठिन, कठिन, या शर्मनाक स्थिति, जिसमें से कोई आसान बच नहीं है
  • Synonyms: bind,corner, dilemma, fix, hole, impasse, jam, mire, pickle, predicament, spot
  • Antonyms: advantage, solution, agreement, contentment
  • Usage: He’s caught in a quagmire of debt.

Subtler: (adjective) जटिल

  • Meaning: clever at attaining one’s ends by indirect and often deceptive means
  • अर्थ: अप्रत्यक्ष और अक्सर भ्रामक साधनों द्वारा एक के सिरों को प्राप्त करने में चतुर
  • Synonyms: artful, beguiling, cagey, crafty, cunning, cute, designing, devious, foxy, guileful, scheming, shrewd, slick, sly, tricky, wily
  • Antonyms: artless, guileless, ingenuous, innocent
  • Usage: There have been many subtler, more original and more systematic thinkers about the conditions of the social union.

Proffer: (verb) निवेदन करना

  • Meaning: to put before another for acceptance or consideration
  • अर्थ: स्वीकृति या विचार के लिए दूसरे के सामने रखना
  • Synonyms: extend, offer, tender, propose, give in, submit.
  • Antonyms: decline, deny, disallow, disapprove, negative, reject.
  • Usage: It is the ultimate manifestation of the marketplace of ideas; the more people who proffer their ideas to the world, the better the outcome will be for us all.

Hoary: (adjective) वयोवृद्ध

  • Meaning: dating or surviving from the distant past
  • अर्थ: दूर के अतीत से डेटिंग या जीवित रहना
  • Synonyms: age-old, aged, ancient, antediluvian, antique, dateless, hoar, immemorial, old, venerable
  • Antonyms: modern, new, recent

CONCOMITANT (adjective) सहगामी

  • Meaning: naturally  accompanying or associated.
  • अर्थ: स्वाभाविक रूप से साथ या जुड़ा हुआ।
  • Synonyms: attendant, collateral, linked, accessory, auxiliary.
  • Antonyms: unassociated, unconnected, unrelated, indifferent, unbound.
  • Usage: That it is apparently devoid of psychical concomitant need not imply that the impressions concerned in it are crude and in elaborate.

FARRAGO (noun) : गड़बड़ होना 

  • Meaning: a confused mixture.
  • अर्थ: एक उलझन भरा मिश्रण।
  • Synonyms: mishmash, jumble, hodgepodge, turmoil.
  • Antonyms: constituent, ravel, sequence, categorization.
  • Usage: The present gun law is a farrago of nonsense as most of it is unenforceable.

RELIC (noun) : निशान

  • Meaning: a trace of some past or outmoded practice, custom, or belief.
  • अर्थ: कुछ अतीत या बहिर्मुखी अभ्यास, प्रथा, या विश्वास का एक निशान।
  • Synonyms: vestige, antique, artifact, residue.
  • Antonyms: modern, recent, latest, neoteric.
  • Usage: The piece of pottery was a relic of the past that evoked in me a feeling of nostalgia.

EMBELLISH (verb) : संवारना

  • Meaning: to make something sound or look better or more acceptable than it is in reality
  • अर्थ: किसी चीज को वास्तविक रूप से बेहतर या अधिक बेहतर या अधिक स्वीकार्य बनाना
  • Synonyms: adorn, deck
  • Antonyms: lessen, reduce
  • Usage: Grandma likes to embellish her knitting by hiding secret messages in the pattern.

INVIGORATE(Verb) : सबल बनाना 

  • Meaning: to give life, vigor, or spirit to
  • अर्थ: प्राण, शक्ति या आत्मा देना
  • Synonym: amp (up), animate, brace, energize, enliven, fillip, fire
  • Antonym: damp, dampen, deaden, dull, kill
  • Usage: The fresh air and sunshine invigorated the children after a long winter indoors.

SHODDY (adjective)  : तुच्छ

  • Meaning: badly made or done.
  • अर्थ: बुरी तरह से बनाया या किया हुआ।
  • Synonyms: trashy, crude, junky, duff.
  • Antonyms: prestigious, reputed, elegant, upright.
  • Usage: Because of shoddy accounting practices, our firm is being audited.
