MEDDLE (verb) हस्तक्षेप करना

  • Meaning: interfere in something that is not one’s concern.
  • अर्थ: किसी ऐसी चीज़ में हस्तक्षेप करना जो किसी की चिंता न हो।
  • Synonyms: interlope, intrude, poke, pry.
  • Antonyms: shun, disregard, neglect, overlook.
  • Usage: Please stop meddling in your sister’s life, even though you mean well.

OVERTURE (noun) : सन्धि प्रस्ताव

  • Meaning: an introduction to something more substantial.
  • अर्थ: कुछ अधिक पर्याप्त करने के लिए एक परिचय।
  • Synonyms: prelude, introduction, opening, voluntary.
  • Antonyms: conclusion, epilogue, aftermath, coda.
  • Usage: He spent more time with the orchestra, with the overture in the beginning of the show than the whole block of the show.

IMPERATIVE (adjective) अनिवार्य

  • Meaning: Of vital importance; crucial.
  • Synonyms: indispensable, exigent, essential, urgent.
  • Antonyms: negligible, insignificant, trivial, secondary.
  • Usage: It is imperative that couples should communicate in order to know the root of the conflict.

ECCENTRIC(Adjective) : केंद्रभ्रष्ठ

  • Meaning:deviating from the norm
  • अर्थ: आदर्श से भटकना
  • Synonyms: bizarre, curious
  • Antonyms: common, familiar
  • Example: She’s a little eccentric but still fun to be around.

IMPRIMATUR (noun) : अनुमति

  • Meaning: a person’s authoritative approval.
  • अर्थ: किसी व्यक्ति की आधिकारिक स्वीकृति।
  • Synonyms: agreement, consent, assent, permission.
  • Antonyms: disapprobation, disapproval, opprobrium, reprobation.
  • Usage: The court case could not proceed without an imprimatur from the judge.

GULLIBLE(Adjective) : आसानी से धोखा खानेवाला

  • Meaning:easily deceived or tricked
  • अर्थ: आसानी से धोखा या छल
  • Synonyms:foolish, credulous
  • Antonyms:wise, astute
  • Usage:There are any number of miracle cures on the market for people gullible enough to buy them.

LAUDABLE (adjective) : प्रशंसनीय

  • Meaning: (of an action, idea, or aim) deserving praise and commendation.
  • अर्थ: (किसी कार्य, विचार या उद्देश्य का) प्रशंसा और प्रशंसा के योग्य।
  • Synonyms: praiseworthy, admirable, meritorious
  • Usage: Faith ceases to be laudable when it is blind faith.

De facto (Adverb , Adjective) : वास्तव में

  • Meaning: in fact, whether by right or not. (Adverb)
  • अर्थ:वास्तव में, सही से या नहीं। (क्रिया विशेषण)
  • Synonyms: actually, in fact, in reality, in effect
  • Antonyms: de jure, non-realistic, allegedly, hypothetically
  • Usage in a Sentence: With the death of his father, he became the de facto head of the family.

DISSEMINATE : प्रसारित करना

  • Meaning: to spread or give out something, especially news, information, ideas, etc., to a lot of people
  • अर्थ: बहुत से लोगों को कुछ विशेष रूप से समाचार, सूचना, विचार आदि फैलाने या देने के लिए
  • Synonyms: advertise, disperse
  • Antonyms: conceal, hide
  • Example: One of the organization’s aims is to disseminate information about the disease.
