DISSIDENCE (Noun) : मतभेद

  • Meaning: disagreement over a matter
  • अर्थ: किसी बात पर असहमति
  • Synonyms: contention, disagreement, discordance, disharmony, dispute
  • Antonyms: agreement, approval, authorization, concurrence
  • Example: So much is said nowadays about the dissidence of the spiritual and intellectual worlds.

ALACRITY (noun) : तत्परता

  • Meaning: cheerful readiness, promptness, or willingness.
  • अर्थ: हंसमुख तत्परता, शीघ्रता, या इच्छा।
  • Synonyms: alertness, avidity, briskness, cheerfulness, dispatch, eagerness
  • Antonyms: apathy, coolness, discouragement, indifference
  • Usage: His alacrity of manner and quick step justified this opinion.

CAPACIOUS (adjective) : विशाल

  • Meaning: having a lot of space inside, roomy.
  • अर्थ: अंदर बहुत जगह है, विशाल।
  • Synonyms: roomy, commodious, spacious, ample.
  • Antonyms: limited, restricted, narrow, exclusive.
  • Usage: The Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium is very capacious.

DISCREET (adjective) : सतर्क

  • Meaning: careful and prudent in one’s speech or actions, especially in order to keep something confidential or to avoid embarrassment.

  • अर्थ: अपने आप को, अपनी इच्छाओं को, या अपनी मान्यताओं को अन्य लोगों या उनकी इच्छाओं या विश्वासों की तुलना में कम महत्वपूर्ण मानना
  • Synonyms: conquer, enslave
  • Antonyms: lose, release
  • Example : Reporters must subjugate personal political convictions to their professional commitment to balance.

ADROIT : निपुण

  • Meaning: very skillful and quick in the way you think or move
  • अर्थ: जिस तरह से आप सोचते हैं या चलते हैं, बहुत कुशल और त्वरित
  • Synonyms: adept, artful
  • Antonyms: clumsy, awkward
  • Example: She was adroit at removing my armor, which she did well and beautifully.

EXORBITANT : अत्यधिक

  • Meaning: (of prices and demands) much too large
  • अर्थ: (कीमतों और माँगों का) बहुत बड़ा
  • Synonyms: enormous, outrageous
  • Antonyms: cheap, good
