1) Lackadaisical (Adjective) — उत्साह और दृढ़ संकल्प की कमी

Meaning: lacking enthusiasm and determination; carelessly lazy.

Synonyms: careless, lazy, lax, unenthusiastic

Antonyms: enthusiastic, excited

Usage: “a lackadaisical defence left Spurs adrift in the second half”

2) Lynching (Verb) – बिना मुकदमे मार डालना

Meaning: (of a group of people) kill (someone) for an alleged offence without a legal trial, especially by hanging.

Synonyms: hang, hang by the neck

Antonyms:bearing, creating

Usage: “her father had been lynched for a crime he didn’t commit”

3) Insurgents (Noun) — विद्रोहियों

Meaning: a person fighting against a government or invading force; a rebel or revolutionary.

Synonyms: rebel, revolutionary, revolutionist

Antonyms:  loyalist

Usage: “an attack by armed insurgents”

4) Affirmed (Verb) — पुष्टि करना

Meaning: state emphatically or publicly.

Synonyms: declare, state, assert

Antonyms: deny

Usage: “he affirmed the country’s commitment to peace”

5) Tackling (Verb)  से निपटना

Meaning: make determined efforts to deal with (a problem or difficult task).

Synonyms: get to grips with, apply oneself to

Antonyms: abstaining, avoiding, completing

6) Surpassed (Verb) – से अधिक होना  

Meaning: exceed; be greater than.

Synonyms: excel, be better than, be superior to

Antonyms: trailed, dropped behind, fell back

Usage: “pre-war levels of production were surpassed in 1929”

7) Intrinsic (Adjective) — अंतर्भूत

Meaning: belonging naturally; essential.

Synonyms: inherent, innate, inborn, inbred

Antonyms: extrinsic, acquired

Usage: “access to the arts is intrinsic to a high quality of life”\

8) Souvenirs (Noun) – स्मारिका, स्मृति चिन्ह

Meaning: a thing that is kept as a reminder of a person, place, or event.

Synonyms: memento, keepsake, reminder

Antonyms: forgotten

Usage:”the recording provides a souvenir of a great production”

9)Ignominy (Noun) — बदनामी

Meaning: public shame or disgrace.

Synonyms:  shame, humiliation, embarrassment

Usage: “the ignominy of being imprisoned”

10) Lustre(Noun) – चमक 

Meaning: a gentle sheen or soft glow.

Synonyms: sheen, gloss, glossiness, shine
