Madhya Pradesh launches Charan Paduka campaign for migrant labourers

Madhya Pradesh has launched a new campaign named as “Charan Paduka” for the migrant labourers moving through the state. Under this campaign, shoes and slippers will be offered to those labourers going barefoot in order to reduce their pain. This operation is being managed by the police at most of the places in the state, starting from the Rau Police Station of Indore.

Kotak Mahindra Bank becomes 1st bank in India to allow video Know your customer (KYC) facility for customers opening savings accounts on Kotak 811 – the banks digital banking platform. The action is presently being started on a pilot basis for savings accounts, Kotak Mahindra. With Video KYC (Know your Customer), verification of documents, signature are completed via a video call with a representative from the bank without any physical interface.
