Air- Tight (adjective)

  • Meaning:- having no weaknesses; unassailable.
  • अर्थ: – कोई कमजोरी नहीं है; अभेद्य।

Dastardly (adjective) : नीच

  • Meaning:- wicked and cruel.
  • अर्थ: – दुष्ट और क्रूर।
  • Synonyms:- contemptible, cowardly
  • Antonyms:- honorable, respectable, worthy

Convoy (noun) : रक्षक दल

  • Meaning:- (of a warship or armed troops) accompany (a group of ships or vehicles) for protection.
  • अर्थ: – (एक युद्धपोत या सशस्त्र सैनिकों के) सुरक्षा के लिए (जहाजों या वाहनों का एक समूह) साथ होते हैं।
  • Synonyms:- attendance, attendant, companion
  • Example:- The second attack on the Scandinavian convoy occurred on 12th December.

Minutiae (noun) : सूक्ष्म विचार

  • Meaning:- the small, precise, or trivial details of something.
  • अर्थ: – किसी चीज का छोटा, सटीक या तुच्छ विवरण।
  • Synonyms:- trivia, incidental
  • Example:- But it is unnecessary to trace these studies in all their minutiae.

BOLSTER (verb) : आधार

  • Meaning: support or strengthen.
  • अर्थ: सहारा देना या मजबूत करना।
  • Synonyms: strengthen, support, reinforce, boost
  • Antonyms: undermine
  • Sentence: In order to bolster its profits, the computer company is cutting its workforce.

STONEWALL (Verb) : रुकावट डालना 

  • Meaning: delay or obstruct (a request, process, or person) by refusing to answer questions or by being evasive.
  • अर्थ: सवालों के जवाब देने से इंकार करने या निष्कासित होने से देरी या बाधा (एक अनुरोध, प्रक्रिया या व्यक्ति)।
  • Synonyms: delay, rebuff
  • Sentence: Picketing protestors were determined to stonewall the peace talks and keep the lockout going.

 PROACTIVE (Adjective) : सक्रिय 

  • Meaning: (of a person or action) creating or controlling a situation rather than just responding to it after it has happened.
  • अर्थ: (किसी व्यक्ति या क्रिया का) किसी स्थिति को उत्पन्न करने या नियंत्रित करने के बजाय केवल ऐसा होने के बाद उस पर प्रतिक्रिया देना।
  • Synonyms: enterprising, energetic
  • Sentence: Emergency procedures are proactive measures to ensure everyone’s safety.

DEBASE (Verb) : अवमूल्यन करना 

  • Meaning: reduce (something) in quality or value; degrade.
  • अर्थ: गुणवत्ता या मूल्य में कमी (कुछ); नीचा।
  • Synonyms: degrade, demean, disgrace, undermine
  • Antonyms: enghance
  • Sentence: The politician tried to debase his rival’s good reputation by spreading false rumors about him.

FLAGRANT (Adjective) : कुख्यात 

  • Meaning: (of an action considered wrong or immoral) conspicuously or obviously offensive.
  • अर्थ: (गलत या अनैतिक मानी जाने वाली एक क्रिया के) स्पष्ट या स्पष्ट रूप से आक्रामक।
  • Synonyms: blatant, glaring, obvious, overt, evident,
  • Antonyms:  unobtrusive, slight
  • Sentence: The bruises on the boy’s legs revealed the flagrant abuse he had suffered at home.

FATALITY (NOUN): मृत्यु-दर

  • Meaning: the quality or state of causing death or destruction
  • अर्थ: मृत्यु या विनाश करने का गुण या स्थिति
  • Synonyms: casualty, loss, prey, victim
  • Antonyms: harmer, injurer, assassin, killer
  • Sentence: Seatbelt use significantly reduces the risk of a fatality during a traffic accident
