AXIOMATIC (Adjective) : सिद्ध 

  • Meaning: self-evident or unquestionable.
  • अर्थ: स्वयं स्पष्ट या निर्विवाद।
  • Synonym: Understood, Given, Granted, self-evident
  • Antonym: Misunderstood, uncertain
  • Usage: The arithmetic principles are axiomatic in nature.

TINGE (verb) रंग देना

  • Meaning: color slightly.
  • अर्थ: थोड़ा रंग।
  • Synonyms: dye, stain, shade, suffuse.
  • Antonyms: decolorize, whiten, blanch, bleach.
  • Usage: The sky had become a dark shade of indigo, tinged with the remnants of deep magenta.


  • Meaning: an accusation in response to one from someone else.
  • अर्थ: किसी और से जवाब में एक आरोप।
  • Synonyms: retaliation, counterattack, accusation, condemnation.

BRAZEN (Adjective) : ज़बरदस्त

  • Meaning: obvious, without any attempt to be hidden

  • Usage: In a brazen assault, the gang fired their weapons at the policeman.

DURESS (Noun) : अवरोध

  • Meaning: threats, violence, constraints, or other action used to coerce someone into doing something against their will or better judgment.
  • अर्थ: धमकी, हिंसा, अड़चन या अन्य कार्रवाई किसी को अपनी इच्छा या बेहतर निर्णय के खिलाफ कुछ करने में मजबूर करती है।
  • Synonyms: coercion, compulsion, pressurization, enforcement.
  • Antonyms: agreement, approval, consent, persuasion.

DILATORY (adjective) : धीमा सुस्त 

  • Meaning: slow to act

  • Antonyms: fast, prompt, brisk, quick.
  • Usage: They were dilatory in providing the researchers with information.

INADVERTENT (Adjective) : बेपरवाह/असावधान 

  • Meaning: not resulting from or achieved through deliberate planning.
  • अर्थ: जानबूझकर नियोजन के माध्यम से प्राप्त या प्राप्त नहीं किया गया।
  • Synonyms:  unintended, accidental, unpremeditated, unplanned,
  • Antonyms: deliberate, intentional

BACKSTOP (noun) : सुरक्षा

  • Meaning: an emergency precaution or last resort.
  • अर्थ: एक आपातकालीन एहतियात या अंतिम उपाय।
  • Synonyms: safeguard, preventive measure, insurance.
  • Antonyms: constraint, limitation, restriction, sanction.
  • Usage: They want the Democrats to act as a backstop for this wild nonsense.

NUDGE (Verb) : प्रोत्साहित करना

  • Meaning: coax or gently encourage (someone) to do something.
  • अर्थ: कुछ करने के लिए मनाना या धीरे से प्रोत्साहित करना (किसी को)।
  • Synonyms: prompt, encourage, coax, stimulate
  • Antonyms: discourage, dissuade
  • Usage: After her late night out partying, both parents nudge their daughter to wake her up during the church service.

CULMINATE (Verb) : पराकाष्ठा पर पहुंचना 

  • Meaning: reach a climax or point of highest development.

  • Antonyms: start, begin
