Agony (noun) : व्यथा

  • Meaning: extreme physical or mental suffering.
  • अर्थ: अत्यधिक शारीरिक या मानसिक पीड़ा।
  • Synonym: pain, hurt, suffering
  • Antonym: Heaven, paradise
  • Usage: The victim’s legs had been crushed under the car and she was in obvious agony

Contrition:(Noun) : पछतावा

  • Meaning: the state of feeling sorry for bad behavior: the state of repentance.
  • अर्थ: बुरे व्यवहार के लिए खेद महसूस करने की स्थिति: पश्चाताप की स्थिति।
  • Synonyms: contriteness, guilt, penitence, regret, remorse, repentance
