Govt of Maharashtra launched online OPD called e-Sanjivani OPD to resolve difficulties faced by citizens in getting health check-ups and counselling as many private clinics are closed due to the lockdown. To use of e-Sanjivani’s services, people should visit the website esanjeevaniopd.in.

India gets USD 1 billion loan from BRICS’ New Development Bank to fight COVID-19 

The New Development Bank of the BRICS countries has fully disbursed 1Billion USD emergency assistance loan to India.

The Shanghai-based New Development Bank (NDB) was established by the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) countries in 2014 and is headed by veteran Indian banker K V Kamath.
