So this time UIDAI opened 28 more ASKs which mainly focus to provide the best user experience. All ASKs are opened across India. According to the source these newly opened Kendras can handle more than 1,000 enrolments and update requests per day.

Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) Launches by Indian Government:
To provide the facilities for blocking and tracing of stolen and lost mobile phones, the government has launched the CEIR web portal in New Delhi. This portal is handled by the Department of Telecom.
Rescheduling in Pariksha pe Charcha programme:
The programme has been rescheduled to 20th January 2020. Basically it’s an event like where Mr Prime Minister going to talk with the cross-section of Students and Teachers from India and abroad to come up with the exam stress. Earlier it was scheduled for 16th Jan 2020.
Political Parties Registration Tracking Management System Launched by Election Commission:
Election Commission Launched it to track the status of the applications. According to the guidelines, any applicants who is going to applying for the party registration from 1st of this month can able to track all the data of applications and also get acknowledge for every detail by SMS and e-mail.

CRPF – R R Bhatnagar retires from a post of DG:
R R Bhatnagar who was serving his duties as a DG of CRPF since April 2017 is now retired and now S S Deswal the ITBP Director-General has been given the “additional” charge for the same post. With a Moto of “Service and Loyalty” CRPF is the world’s largest paramilitary force and their main focus is internal security.

Government has launched an “e-certificate” project which main focus is to avail official documents online for any residents such as income, residence and similar other certificates without any fees. Now residence can apply for the mentioned document without visiting the office.

MANI – Mobile Aided Note Identifier Launched by RBI:
The motive behind to launch the MANI app to provide the perfect vision for visually challenged people for the denomination of currency notes. Reserve Bank of India launched the same app for both Android and iOS platform. Once any user downloads the app then there no internet connection required to use as the app works offline as well. The user only needs to scan the currency by the camera and the app responds as per user prefered language which may be Hindi and English.
GST Collection cross 1 Lakh Crores Dec 2019:
This is a second time in a row that the GST collection cross the mark if 1 Lakh Crores. The total collections are approx 1.03Lakh Crores. In the month of November GST collection is also at approx Rs 1.03 crore.
In Dec 2019, Arunachal Pradesh has the highest increase in GST collection from Rs 26 crore to Rs 58 crore the data shows the same month compare to the last year. There are also various other states which have a huge increase in their percentage of GST Collections like Nagaland 88%, Manipur 64% and Mizoram 60%.
